The above sections have given you a good idea of what my company does, so I’ll tell you a little about the person who’s “running the store”. During my years as a bookkeeper, accountant, and tax preparer, I worked for a variety of companies, across several different industries. I started my career as a bookkeeper for the first 8 years. Then I transitioned to Senior General Accountant, Finally I became a Senior Cost Accountant 5 years ago. As a bookkeeper, I was responsible for the day-to-day activities of the following: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Journal Entries, and Month-End Reporting. While as a Senior General Accountant, I worked with Fixed Assets, Deferred Revenue, Account Reconciliations, Inventory, Month End Closings, worked on multiple companies at once, and Produced Financial Statements. Finally as a Senior Cost Accountant, I reconciled the Profit and Loss Statement, Reclassed Items that were not Properly Posted, Budgeting, Month End Closing, and Produce Financial Statements.
